During the update, CUDs in the ACR and cryo control room will be offline.
Thin client machines in the gallery and other support buildings will be unavailable.
The touch screens at the NEH and FEH hutches will be unavailable.
1pm (15 minutes) - Accelerator Production network isolation/disconnect test. CATER 109830 job 21
Required by cyber security, we are testing our operational reliance on outside networks by briefly unplugging our core MCC routers from the SLAC network. This will also separate Production from the PCDS epics gateways and the Test Facility systems.
During the test you will not be able to into mcclogin or productions systems such as lcls-srv01 from your office/home.
When disconnected we will confirm that the accelerator controls are unaffected in the control room, except for known dependencies such as ability to access websites, ELOG, long-term archiver data, Oracle services.
